Der preisgekrönte NOOR-Fotograf, Kadir van Lohuizen, teilt in dem Workshop seine Erfahrung und sein Know-how in den Bereichen Dokumentar- und Reportagefotografie heute: Arbeitsbedingungen, Visual Story Telling und Einsatz von Social und Multimedia in fotografischen Dokumentarprojekten, u.a. aus seinem jüngesten Projekt ViaPanAm.

Er finanzierte das Projekt u.a. über Crowdfunding und wird dazu auch auf der Abschlussveranstaltung u.a. mit der Präsentation der Ergebnisse unseres Crowdfunding-Wettbewerbs am 22.6.2012 auf dem Festival berichten.

Kadir ist mit seiner Ausstellung “Wind Energy in China” als Teil des NOOR Climate Change Projektes im Festival vertreten.

“The past year, photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen (NOOR) traveled 40.000 km along the Pan-American Highway, looking for stories about migration. The goal: to show migration as phenomenon common to all times and places, and to depict the diversity of people migrating. Simultaneously,Via PanAm explores new ways for photojournalists to keep their heads above water.”

Kadir financed this project in part through crowdfunding and will tell us how during the festival award ceremony, on June 22nd – which will, among other things, present the results of our crowdfunding festival competition.

Der NOOR-Fotograf Jan Grarup, fotografiert ist seit über 20 Jahren als Fotojournalist in allen Krisen- und Konfliktregionen dieser Welt unterwegs. Für seine exzellenten Fotoreportage-Arbeiten wurde er mahrfach mit renomierten internationalen Preisen ausgezeichnet.

During the workshop I will explain how to reduce the “noise” in your head – narrow your story down and make you ready to go out with an energy and a clear mind to cover the stories you want.How do you research your story, get in contact with the right people and get close to human beings you have never seen before. Trust is a key issue, and at the end of the day it is all related.”
